Hey guys! We are in Saitama today on a zoo date. …and we’ve come to see the capybara go into an onsen! Wallaby They’re all just standing in a row. Cute! Cute! Look at them. They’re so cute! I’d like to start the capybara onsen talk. Thanks to all of you, this is the 8th year we have been able to run the capybara onsen …here at the Saitama Children’s Zoo. Capybara are originally from South America in Brazil, and live around the Amazon River. Winter in Japan can be difficult for capybara. Because they are animals weak to the cold, we prepare a hot bath for them as a special treat. On a mild day like this, instead of warming up in a bath, the capybara would rather sunbathe or eat things. Unfortunately that seems to be what they want to do, but while I was talking there was one that got in the bath for a while…and promptly got out. It’s a little sad that we can’t show you capybara in the onsen so… Maybe I’ll use what I was saving for the finale. It’s the Chinese cabbage that the capybara love. …not much of a reaction A couple did come right away though. OK. I’m going to put the cabbage inside of the onsen. From the outside haha It’s so cute. This is kind of a let down. Ahhhh so cute! Come on! It’s cold! Wow! It climbed out! It was sad that we didn’t get to see them like really… …go in the onsen for a long time. …but they were still really cute. …and next we are going to go see the guinea pig race Wave and say bye to them! Cuteeeeeeeeeee Bye bye!!! Bye bye!!! Thanks for watching guys. If you enjoyed this vlog, please make sure to give it a like.
