How to Load the Protecta LP Rodent Bait Station

How to Load the Protecta LP Rodent Bait Station

To load the Protecta LP Rodent Bait station
with bait, first open the lid using the key. There are two ways to load the station. One way is to use small vertical rods. Insert the rods in the specified location
as show. The Protecta LP can hold up to four vertical
rods. Once the rods are in place, slide the bait
block of your choice in place. Make sure to always wear gloves when handling
rodent bait. Each rod can hold one bait block. Vertical rods should be used if temperatures
will be very hot because bait might melt. As it melts, it puddles around the rod. As temperatures cool, it will resolidify around
the rod. The other method, is to use a horizontal rod. This rod will lay perpendicular over the holes
where the vertical rods insert. Remove the rod, and slide the bait into place. You can use up to 3 bait blocks with the horizontal
rod. Place the rod back into the designated grooves,
and secure the lid back into place. We recommend horizontal baiting when bait
stations will be placed in areas where water might get inside. The horizontal rods will hold the bait up
off the floor of the station and help keep it dry. And it’s that easy with the expert help
