How to Make a Ghostbusters Cake / Slimer Cake Topper

In this video you’re going to see this Ghostbusters
Cake. I made this for a client who had a party with a Ghostbusters theme. I have a little bit of Laryngitis still going
on. So I am not going to speak. I’m just going to let you watch the video
and if you have any questions at all just leave me comments below.

  1. Lovely detail work. Two questions: what did you put under the “top knot” layer? Was it a type of wax paper or something edible (had a translucent look to it, cut in a circle. Would it allow the top layer to be lifted off? Secondly, what do use to glue the fondant onto the main bodies of the cake?

  2. Every year I make a special themed Halloween cake for one of my clients. This years theme was Ghostbusters. Fun cake to make. You can find logos online and trace over them on your screen with an overlay of parchment paper. You could also print them out and trace, but I don't have a printer. The city scape can be found online as well. That one was printed out for me and I use it for various cakes. What did you make for Halloween cakes this year? Stay tuned for the next video which is a gorgeous Thanksgiving Pumpkin cake that I made for a birthday cake order. You can see it at the end of this video. 👛🍰😀

  3. Oh man. I would never have thought of this theme, but to each his own! Love how well the drips go with the slimer theme. So creative!
