Tamper-Proof Rodent Bait Station: Product Review

Hi, I’m Keith with Solutions Pest and Lawn. In this video, we’ll talk about this product,
we are going to cover what it is, what its used for, how to get started, where and when
to apply, drawbacks and the different considerations before choosing this product. Solutions Pest and Lawn is a small family
owned business that relies on people like you to succeed. Our goal is to teach you how to treat your
pest problems. If you have any questions, after watching
this video, please email, call, or visit one of our stores and we can help you out. Solution’s Rodent Bait Station is a multi-use,
tamper-proof bait station. This product is made from sturdy ABS plastic
and is a great addition to any rodent bait or snap trap treatment. Before using the Rodent Bait Station, be sure
to wear gloves. Wearing gloves any time you handle the station,
clean or refill the station, or move the location of the station is important because the rodents
will smell human scent on or in the station and will avoid it. Using the Rodent Bait station is simple and
safe. The station features a tamper-proof lid that
requires a key to open. The key is provided with every station and
ensures children and pets cannot open the station. It also comes with a crumb tray for bait blocks,
making clean up quick and easy. To use the crumb tray with the vertical rods,
use the rod to punch through the three divots pre-pressed into the tray. Simply lift the tray out to clean the crumbs
, then slide it back into place in the bait chamber. We also offer a variation that mounts on a
cement block that is more difficult to be tampered with. This variation works best for commercial and
residential areas. The Rodent Bait station comes with two different
types of rods for application. The first is vertical. Slide your bait blocks directly down the rods
and your station is ready to go. The station also comes with two longer rods
with hooked ends. Slide your bait blocks onto the rods and push
the rods horizontally onto the grooves on the sides of the bait chamber and your station
is ready to go. This configuration is ideal if you are worried
about rain water or standing water entering the station, as the bait will not be resting
on the bottom of the station. The bait station can also be placed vertically,
keeping the bait even higher off the ground while still keeping the bait at a suitable
level for rodents to reach it. You can also place an Easy Set Rat Trap inside
the rodent bait station. Remove the center rod from the bait chamber
and line up the two holes on the Easy Set Rat trap with the remaining to rods and push
it into the bait chamber. Now apply your bait and set the trap and your
bait station is ready to be placed. Place each bait station 10-25 feet apart. Place the stations along walls and fence lines,
near burrows or holes where the rodents might be nesting, and in areas where you have seen
rodent activity. When placing the stations, be sure to place
them with the entrance to the station against the wall. You can even place the stations vertically
for tight spaces. Do not place them out in the open as rodents
like to walk along walls and structures to feel safe, and rarely walk in open space. Solutions Rodent Bait station provides a clean
and simple way to remove rodents from your traps. It adds to the effectiveness of your bait
or traps by providing a safe space for rodents to venture in to. Rodents prefer dark enclosed spaces, so they
will be more willing to approach the bait station rather than a trap by itself. While using bait, it also allows you to easily
refill your bait or move the location without hassle. Once the active infestation is taken care
of, It can also be easily cleaned and stored for future use. Do not clean the station while you are actively
trapping for rodents, as the rodents will smell their own scent on the bait station
and feel more comfortable around them. Most active infestations cannot be controlled
through the use of one product. For each type of rodent, we have come up with
treatment methods that we guarantee 100% to work. Click the card on the top right to get more
information. The Solutions Bait Station is a useful addition
to any rodent trap or baiting process, but it does not control rodents by itself. It needs to be used alongside a bait or trap. The Bait Station also includes a key to unlock
the lid and open up the station, but f the key is lost then you will not be able to open
the lid. If these concern you, check out the Easy Set
rodent traps. Use these traps for a quick and lethal solution
to your rodent problem, and they can also be cleaned and stored for future use. Solutions Pest and Lawn is a small family

pest problems. If you have any questions, after watching
